Tales of the goings on at Hollyford Pottery, near the tiny village of Stockleigh English in Devon, England
Great puzzle jug. That glaze is a beaut.I love the deco on those.
They don't come through as blurred on my computer--they come through as beautiful! You have to be very pleased--really lovely! Gay
These are great Doug, love the puzzle jug. Just put 4 of them in my kiln but they're not as nice as that one.
Really physically powerful pots, love the jars.
Truley Scrumptious Mr Fitch.
Thank you kind people, Hannah, I saw your puzzle jugs and they're amazing so don't talk rubbish! Paul, hope it went well at the show
Just having another look at the pots. Now off to ravage the train line website to try to get to Hatfield to see the pots properly.Damn it you bring out the materialist in me.
Doug, I really admire the work your making...writing my blog has introduced me to all kinds of fine potmakers, but I have a special affection for the pots that are your inspiration.I'm a frequent visitor to England and I hope that we will meet one day. I didn't know about Sid's wife...Ray himself has been pretty shakey ...lasts year's floods put a real hurting on WP.Thanks for looking in. I'll be doing the same! Dan
