Tiles

I went to the workshop today and tidied up ready to unload the kiln tomorrow. I really hope it's all okay - I'm in big trouble if it isn't, as time's ticking away towards the exhibition in November and there isn't time to re-make stuff. Oh well, I'll know tomorrow.

Here are some photos I was sent today, of some of the tiles I made recently, in their new home.

Thank you Dave and Sue

I KNOW! I had the same reaction as Meredith and Anna! That is a great installation, makes me want to go measure the walls in my kitchen and get to work! Just beautiful Doug!!

Thanks folks, it really is good to see things away from the workshop - I always feel too close to things at the workshop and can't see them clearly - it's the same with the latest pots. I've always struggled with decorating flatware, so this has been a really useful exercise, because I can transfer some of these designs onto dishes etc.

It still blows my mind that I met you folks in the USA a few months ago :)

It's SO true. It's very hard for me to see the pots in my shop, too. Always surprising to see them in their natural habit, all grown up!

I hope we see other again soon! I'd love to visit you this time. ;-))
