Ooo loverly - makes me think of that song 'Mud, mud, glorious mud'!! While you were out doing the real thing, I was over at Bath Potters collecting the rather more sanitised version, but did have to go through a blizzard to get there, so some suffering for my art!
It is amazing that woodland -there are lots of different seams over there - I need to get some tests done for decorating slips. The ground was frozen here too for quite a while, but as you can see, it's really sticky over there now. Luke's going to be making a lovely bit of sculpture using raw mud - I'll keep you posted. Bath Potters are brilliant, they've been really good to me bless 'em Cheers my lovelies
A bit mushy for sure! Luke has made some killer work in the past, looking forward to what he'll do this time.

a place of great inspiration indeed. seems like an endless supply of clay... funny remark about coming back to get luke in the summer
