What gigantic jugs! I love the sprigging so much that I am going to put it on my to do list for my next session! I've gotta a steep learning curve. Great stuff.
how do you put it on so the slip doesn't mess up (or melt with) the clay? it has happened to me a couple of times, where there was no detail left after applying the slip...
That jug pic from the bottom reminds me of a Helter Skelter at the local Fair when I was a little boy. thats how big they looked when I was a little kid.
Could I ask a question, what type of clay do you use and why did you choose it? I am trying to decide if I should stick with stoneware or try earthenware.
