I always wondered whether it was populated with strange hairy beings making strange noises... the mystery continues.
Were you in Slapton village? We went to the pub a few times - the tower inn - very nice - good beer. Other than that, i was mostly hidden by reeds or other tall vegetation - or sunk in very sticky mud.
and what about us poor buggers north of the midlands?
