Hi Doug, I really like what you are up to in your studio and delighted that you've been looking at my blog. I did indeed know Sid and in a bizarre way I replaced him. When he left most everyone moved up a rung on the pottery ladder and that left a gap at the bottom. That's where I came in. Sid still came by to pack all the pots for shipping. His big present when he retired after 50 plus years was a roto-tiller!
