  3. The pots are sooo good. The pictures are a real asset in showing your pots. I have just posted a few pictures I snapped of work I took out of the kiln this week nothing like the proffessional standard your displaying. Great about Long Room Gallery.Margaret

  4. Thanks chaps and chapesses. My mate Johnny takes really good shots. It's a challenge for him because slipware is of course very shiny, but he's been photgraphing my pots for years so he's cracked it I think. I like Hannah's comment about licking pots, Galena glaze can be like toffee apples so I understand what she means. This Blogger site's great for big pictures, that was always a frustration on my old site. Is there any limit to file size? Just taken a look at your pots Margaret, lovely drawing. John Edgeler at the Long Room Gallery has been a great support to me over the last few months. He and I get excited about the same kind of pot. It should be a good show I hope, I've been stock piling my best bits in my attic for that show and the one in London at the Harlequin Gallery. John sent me the ad, it's going to be in the next Ceramic Review.
    Happy Monday all

  6. Hello Anonymous
Good to hear from you. I've got a stack of earthy porridge bowls that came out of my last firing. They're unglazed on the outside and I put them in the hotspots of the kiln so that the clay picks up flashing marks from the flame. Make sure I've got your details so I can send you invitations to the Private Views dougfitch@fsmail.net
    Thanks for signing in
    Cheers
    Doug
