I am a big fan of pots, in fact I always feel much more at home with potters than woodworkers. I did Art in Action for many years and the ceramics tent with Svend and Clive Was always a favourite place.

In the medieval period potters made jugs and turners made bowls, both full of vitality. I think rustic wooden bowls and traditional jugs go as well together today as they did back then.Robin Woodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05540543090007397534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6709786391671578715.post-53701231080979591752009-01-05T22:02:00.000+00:002009-01-05T22:02:00.000+00:00Evening all.Did the talking Jude, it was good to h...Evening all.
Did the talking Jude, it was good to hear of MM's holidays in the sun, lucky man. He had an amazing book about Mexican crafts, I'll try and get some pics to share - clever people in that culture, they value their traditional skills.

Great stuff on Robin's blog eh? I was well chuffed to find that.doug Fitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12413690733976558551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6709786391671578715.post-71961981803483235842009-01-05T18:01:00.000+00:002009-01-05T18:01:00.000+00:00i fancy having a go of that, you know in my "spare...i fancy having a go of that, you know in my "spare" time!Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01268429507947559935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6709786391671578715.post-80312617127590165172009-01-05T17:00:00.000+00:002009-01-05T17:00:00.000+00:00Wonderful stuff, Doug.
