Your blog was the very first blog I ever read and it inspired me to start blogging. It's photos/posts like this one that inspired me! and now look at me, I'm obsessed :) and we will be in a show together soon. WOW!
Ah Bless you Mr Fitch, That comforting stove and smoke from the chimney look like something from The Hobbit. I trust that you can rest up in an old arm chair with the feet up, a nice plug of baccy in the pipe. The snowdrops are lovely.
Hi Doug - Kate here from NY (Gary's friend). I take a gander every now and again at your blog. Lovely photos today! Can't believe you've already got Snowdrops! I'm jealous!
Have been enjoying reading lately. Keep up the good work with the pottery. The Trophy was beautiful and so are all your other items. It's wonderful to see photos of your snow and your beautiful lane.
Hello all, thank you for taking the time to drop by, I do enjoy hearing from you, but I'm nnot terribly good at posting replies here, so please forgive me, and keep coming! Tracey I'm touched that my ramblings set you off into the blogosphere and I too look forward to sharing a show with you and my other blogging friends. Hey, yes, snowdrops, hurrah! It's a coming, it'll a be a while yet, but it's a welcome and refreshing sign to see life in the garden :-)
What a difference that stove has made. It's been pretty cold in there for months, which is fine as long as the frost stays out and I have lots of clothes on, but it makes such a change to be in warmth. What I didn't say about that first picture, is that I forgot to open the flue when I lit the burner, went outside for a while, then came back in to a room full of smoke - looks atmospheric though eh?!

Nice chimney! Hope you get a bit of rest. Love seeing the flowers.
Who needs words? Ahh, springtime just around the corner?
Snowdrops already?!
