Gnarly dudes for sale

My great friend Nic Collins has just added a saleroom to his web site.

Nic's my favourite potter, always ground-breaking and never compromising, I love his pots.

Although his work is made by processes typical of the Orient, I think his pots are much more about his rugged Dartmoor suroundings.

I find his work and spirit really inspiring, he's the geezer.

Check out his saleroom here.

I'm dumbfounded. Nic's work is wonderful. Oddly, I recently subscribed to Ceramics Review and received a postcard for a festival in Nov 2008 that featured a pot that might be one of Nic's? Can't tell which festival coz I clipped the pot out & put it on my fridge for inspiration. Thnx for sharing the link, Doug.

Wow! that's what you call Hard Core, love it, (I think these pots remind me a little of the wood kiln just before the last time we rebuilt it thuogh, still great!)

Wonderful work - thank you for sharing the link! That's some *serious* woodfired work.
